Heritage Stone Walls is a small family business with a big passion for building & restoring dry stone walls- a beautiful & intrinsic part of our British heritage.

Whether you are looking to have a new Cotswold Stone wall installed or simply need a wall repaired we are here to help.

Dry stone walls are amongst the most planet friendly options for any landscape project. Providing vital habitats to our wildlife,

a well built dry stone wall will add unrivalled beauty and charm to your property, and last for decades to come.

We also hand carve and install bespoke house name signs. These are hand crafted in beautiful Portland or Bath stone by Philip using solely the ancient traditional method of mallet & chisel. These look spectacular within a Cotswold Stone wall.

We deliver these ourselves to anywhere within the Cotswolds for a small charge. Installation into new or existing walls is also available upon request.

As a traditional artisan craft, we enjoy the creative side to dry stone walling, viewing every wall as a bespoke garden sculpture .

Each wall is totally unique and authentic. We approach each walling project with as much enthusiasm, care & attention as if it were our own.

What stone do we use?

With many excellent local quarries supplying beautiful Cotswold stone to your door, we can help you to choose the best Cotswold stone for your project.

As well as using new stone we have experience in creating walls using mainly reclaimed stone. If you have good quality old Cotswold stone on site we will be happy to preserve it.

Wall Repairs

We repair walls of all shapes & sizes and provide our high quality craftsmanship at reasonable rates.

Some insurance companies will be able to help with the cost of this depending on the cover you have, please contact your insurer to see if this is an option.
